About: Bob Boilen speaks with emerging songwriters about the challenges of creating and performing music. As more and more outlets ask artists to perform in unusual settings, from the back of a cab to thestreets of Paris to a desk at NPR Music, participants will discuss the way their music is affected by theincreasingly unusual context surrounding it. The conversation will incorporate video footage, as well as live performances from the participating artists. Presented in conjunction with NPR.
